Elephant Jungle Paradise Park
The difference between an Elephant Sanctuary and a regular “Elephant Ride” attraction is that an Elephant Sanctuary is squarely aimed at seeing these animals in their natural habitat. Instead of a focus on “doing tricks”, or riding these animals with two or three people at a time, visiting an Elephant Sanctuary allows you to see these animals exhibit natural behavior like taking a mud bath, or witness their toddlers running around, exploring their environment. You’ll even get to join in the fun by joining their mud bath and bathing in the river! So instead of riding these majestic four-footers, we invite you to visit the Elephant Jungle Paradise Park. See the Elephants in their natural habitat under the watchful eyes of its local mahout (traditional Elephant caretaker).
This Elephant Sanctuary offers you the chance to support an ethical, cruelty-free organization while you get to see these amazing animals close up and in the jungle. This half-day program offers you and your friends the intimate experience of feeding and bathing elephants, which is an experience of a lifetime.
Unlike the loud shows on market squares, where you’ll see painted Elephants perform tightly choreographed dance routines, coming out to an Elephant Sanctuary is a different experience entirely. Elephants do have personalities and this natural setting allows the animals to express themselves. For instance, one baby Elephant might be super eager to check out the new visitors, while another one is shy and stays close to its mother. Some Elephants prefer bananas, while others crave watermelon. The professional tour guides and mahouts will talk you through their history and their habits, allowing you to interact with the animals in a quiet and affectionate manner.
If you get lucky, you may even get a hug or a kiss from an inquisitive trunk. And then there is the mud bath, where you can play with the Elephants and cover them in mud or join then for a swim afterward at an idyllic waterfall to finish a profound experience.
